Alpha Kappa Psi is the world’s oldest and largest professional business fraternity. The Beta Mu chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi was installed at the George Washington University on May 6, 1933. In the 90 years, since, AKPsi has been an active part of the university and local community, hosting innovative and large-scale professional development, philanthropic, and social impact programs. Each year, AKPsi co-hosts the Ready, Set, Grow! career conference, the largest student-run conference in the Northeast, and organizes a career trek to New York City. AKPsi members are actively involved in student leadership, standing for the values of Brotherhood, Unity, Integrity, Knowledge, and Service. The chapter is always welcome to new members for two new member classes each year. New members undertake a rigorous professional development program that prepares them to be principled business leaders. With extraordinarily active alumni, Alpha Kappa Psi prides itself on excellence career and higher education placement.
