George Washington University
The ACLU is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1920 to protect and advance civil liberties. As a student chapter of the ACLU, ACLU-D.C. at GW strives to uphold this mission and engage the GW community in civil rights issues relevant to DC and the GW campus through "Know Your Rights" workshops, civic education, on-campus events and programming, and so much more! We work closely with the ACLU-D.C. affiliate office to offer off-campus opportunities like; workshops, campaigns, and volunteer opportunities.
