The Asian American Student Union (AASU) exists to promote cultural awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the Asian American community at American University and beyond. We work to amplify voices through advocacy on issues impacting the Asian American community, their allies, and the broader AU community. AASU strives to provide a safe, inclusive space for all students to express themselves freely and build meaningful connections of like-minded individuals committed to cultural exchange. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
