During the last academic year, Asian Pacific Islander Desi (APID) staff and faculty came together to honor our inaugural APID Heritage Month Celebration in May 2020. Since then, we continue to meet to raise awareness of the unique opportunities and challenges that our APID students, faculty, and staff face. We are in the beginning stages of forming an APID faculty and staff association. We want to promote opportunities for more community engagement, advocacy, outreach, and build more support networks.
