Founded in 2001, Asinine is Boston College's only sketch and improvisational comedy troupe. Asinine hosts one or more shows per semester to showcase before a live audience improvisational comedy in various formats and an array of original content that is entirely student-produced--our video shorts and live sketches are written, edited, produced, acted, directed, and exhibited by our very own members. In addition to our self-produced and free on-campus shows, generally given once or twice per semester, Asinine also participates in university-wide artistic events as well as competitions and festivals within the larger Boston community.
