The mission of this organization is to spread awareness of the mistreatment of animals, support local shelters, and encourage adoption over purchasing from a breeder. Mistreatment can come from puppy and kitten mills and underground dog fighting rings. Animals that arrive at shelters from these backgrounds experience extreme anxiety, fearfulness, and "shelter shock". Members of this club will have the opportunity to do something about it by assisting local shelters in their operations through volunteering, participating in fundraising, and donating necessary items like blankets and food!
