Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is a nationally recognized society for biomedical engineering and bioengineering, founded in early 1968. A (BMES) chapter on Catholic University’s campus will allow students enrolled in the school of biomedical engineering, biology and all students interested to have access to the newest publications on recent advances, discoveries and inventions; promote education and professional development; and integrate the perspectives of the academic, medical, governmental, and business sectors. Biomedical Engineering Society chapter at Catholic University will also provide networking opportunities for these students and for Catholic University of America with people from across the nation. Above all Biomedical Engineering Society chapter at Catholic University will enhance the community of biomedical engineering and bioengineering by uniting and promoting the future of the biomedical engineering profession. For rising biomedical engineers and those who have interest, this chapter will provide opportunities to establish leadership skills, network, publish, and participate in a wide range of career enhancing activities
