Black Girls Vote (BGV) is a grassroots, nonpartisan organization created to represent the national and international concerns of women of color and their allies. We seek to uplift and empower our membership by educating and inspiring our members to understand the public policy decisions affecting their families and communities. BGV continues to cultivate a community of well-informed citizens in communities to support policies that align with BGV’s strategic goals. BGV is open to ALL students American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
