The Black Student Union is an inclusive, student-led organization dedicated to uplifting and supporting students at American University. Guided by our Five-Point Program, we strive to promote advocacy, unity, and personal growth among all individuals and diverse cultural backgrounds. Through engaging events, meaningful dialogue, and community-based programming, we create space for connection, celebration, and empowerment. While our mission centers on the experiences of Black students, BSU is open to all students who are interested in learning about, engaging with, and supporting the Black community. Whether you're looking to build community, expand your perspective, or become involved in campus advocacy, there's a place for you in BSU.
