The purpose of the Black Students United (BSU) is to promote the recognition and involvement of African American students at Ivy Tech Community College – Central Indiana. The goal is to create a voice on campus and to impact decisions regarding students at Ivy Tech Community College – Central Indiana. Extracurricular programs will increase cultural awareness, promote knowledge and appreciation of cultural diversity, enhance political awareness, create a forum for difficult conversations and encourage collaboration towards inclusive solutions.
