The Boston College Baseball team is currently a D1 club program playing in the National Club Baseball Association in the North Atlantic - North Conference. Tryouts are held in early to mid September. We play year round with our season comprising of games in the fall and the spring. The team practices 2 hours 2-3 times a week along with 3-game series over select weekends. Our season usually encompasses anywhere from 15-21 games. In the past, the team has traveled to New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Florida to play both in-conference and out-of-conference opponents. The goal of each season is to make it to the national tournament which is usually held in the end of May. To do this, the team must come first in our conference or receive an at-large bid. We are a very competitive team, but we also have a lot of fun playing the sport we love. The purpose of this club is to provide Boston College students with the opportunity to participate and compete in competitive college baseball. The club shall respect the game of baseball, while representing a school that is established as a well-respected athletic institution, which includes upholding the rules of the game. Additionally, the program will coincide with the mission of the Club Sports program and promote the development of the whole person – physically, formatively, and spiritually. If you have any questions about the possibility of joining the team, please go to our website at www.bcclubbaseball.com or send an email to Club.Baseball@bc.edu.
