The Boston College Figure Skating Club is a student run organization with club sport status at Boston College. BCFSC has two components: freestyle and synchronized skating. Most of the ice time in Conte is awarded to the synchronized skating team, which is comprised of 8-20 skaters who skate a program as one. Tryouts are held during the early fall and team practices begin shortly thereafter. The team competes at the Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships, potentially Nationals and various other competitions throughout the academic year.
