The Boston College Men’s Volleyball team is an intercollegiate club team that competes on a national level. This past 2019-2020 shortened academic year, we carried a roster of 15 players. Given the lack of a NCAA Varsity Men's Volleyball program at Boston College, this team serves to provide an option for those seeking the highest level of competition available at BC. We compete at the D1A level and have won the 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016, and 2018 New England Regional Championships. There are only 64 men’s varsity volleyball programs in the country given the high-cost, low-revenue nature of volleyball in comparison to other sports, which means club volleyball has become one of the highest levels of competitive collegiate volleyball in the country. We hope we can continue to represent Boston College on the national level; in the past the team has proven they can compete with the best. At the National Collegiate Club Volleyball Championships, BC has made it their priority to compete in the top D1A bracket, and play to the best of their ability. The team finished 35th in the nation this past April after having a great run at the 2019 National Tournament in Denver, CO. Playing for Boston College is a privilege, and the team will continue to represent themselves as the Jesuits call them to do, as "men for and with others."
