Brave Spaces is an organization with the goal to bridge marginalized communities through sharing knowledge, leading with inclusion, and establishing spaces for all students, and open to all students, on campus to find a community that accepts them for all facets of their identity. Brave Spaces seeks to amplify the voices and existence of BIPOC and marginalized persons, in community with students who may not be BIPoC, and have differing backgrounds and experiences with such identities, in order to ensure that minoritized communities are placed at the forefront of advocacy, visibility, and collective celebration. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.   For reasonable accommodations needs or requests, please contact Maura Fox at mfox@american.edu
