The Purpose of CannaClub is to bring upon advocacy for the Cannabis plant. The cannabis industry is a growing area that interests many students who live in the DC metropolitan area, where it is legal. As it continues to grow, students deserve to know and learn about the many different facades it has. From racial justice: our country’s “War on Drugs”, environmentalism, business, medical, law, etc, this perspective will turn cannabis back into a plant rather than a drug we have criminalized. CannaClub aims to build a community home for everyone. CannaClub is open to all students. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
