Since its establishment in 1996, the Cape Verdean Student Association (CVSA) has sought out to educate, promote, and present the history of Cape Verde’s rich culture to the student body, faculty, and administration of Boston College. CVSA was founded by a group of Cape Verdean-Americans at UMass Amherst in 1982 and more have been founded throughout the region: including UMass Dartmouth, Northeastern, Suffolk University, Boston College, and many others. Today, the CVSA of Boston College is known for its delicious food, harmonious music, entertaining dances, and most importantly, family. We take pride in our CVSA familia and we welcome all to attend our events and join our club!
