Coalition of Activist Students Celebrating the Acceptance of Diversity and Equality

CASCADE is Howard University's official undergraduate LGBTQ+ student organization representing all schools and colleges. Our mission and purpose is to celebrate, uplift, and advocate for all LGBTQ+ students on campus. As one of the oldest LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations on an HBCU campus, we work to set the tone on a national level for how Black queer people should be treated. We work hard on the issues, but we also provide a space to learn, grow, and have fun.
