The mission of the Creative Writing Club is to establish a learning community for creative writers. The club will sponsor creative writing workshops, book discussions, campus or community readings or other events related to creative writing, including poetry, fiction, and drama. In addition, the club will also provide opportunities for members to learn about the publication process. The club also exists to support the interrelationship between writing and other forms of art, including the plastic arts and music; opportunities will be provided for members to participate in campus and community events related to all forms of art as a benefit to the creative writing process.
