Welcome to the CUA Dance Company! We are proud to be The Catholic University of America's completely student led, organized, and choreographed dance company, where our motto is simple: No Judgment, Just Dance. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, you'll find a welcoming home with us. We share our love of dance with the CUA community through exciting performances and activities. Our major performances include the award-winning Women in the Arts, ArtsFest, and our Showcase. We also perform at major campus events (Family Weekend, etc) and any collaborative opportunities from other organizations (CCE's Global Fest, Dance Team's Nationals Send Off, Esports' Just Dance, etc).In addition to performances, we offer technique classes every Saturday at 10:15 a.m. in a variety of dance styles for all levels — no prior experience needed! Drop in for a couple classes to stay moving, or come to all for an overview of all kinds of dance styles. Performance rehearsals are held on Monday's at 7 p.m. in preparation for upcoming performances. Throughout the year, we also host fun community events like our beginning-of-the-year Dance and masterclasses with guest artists, including The Washington Ballet’s Roman Aldrete.Auditions are held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, but we welcome new members and new friends year-round.
