Delta Lambda Phi is the first ever fraternity for queer men and trans people. It was founded here, in Washington, DC, in 1986, and quickly spread across the United States and Canada. Today, the organization has 11 active chapters, from CSU-Long Beach to NYU, and, of course, here at the George Washington University! The Alpha Chapter, originally a community-based organization in DC, rechartered in 2018 in its new home at the George Washington University. DLP is not your typical fraternity - we are a family! We build a tight-knit, diverse, and loving brotherhood through recreational, social, and service events. Examples of some of our most-loved events are our picnics all across the beautiful city of Washington, our brotherhood bonding retreats, and of course, our charity drag show! Come join us! DLP is a friend of all, and a brother for many. Join us for Rush in the Fall or Spring! Contact us on social media or at alpha.chapter@dlp.org for more information.
