Eagles for Diabetes functions as a support-style group for BC students living with diabetes, specifically type 1 diabetes. Oftentimes, this disease can be extremely isolating as management is most frequently done alone. Eagles for Diabetes allows students to converse and connect with other students who live with diabetes, oftentimes finding comfort in the relatability of many topics we chat about. Furthermore, we do not limit our club to people living with diabetes. Instead, anyone who is friends with or has a loved one living with diabetes or is simply interested in learning about diabetes is welcome to join!
