Engineers Without Borders
George Washington University
Engineers Without Borders at The George Washington University is a collegiate, student-run organization that allies with communities at home and abroad to devise unique and sustainable solutions for underserved areas. Our goal is to empower partner communities to meet their basic needs and challenge our students to extend their engineering knowledge beyond the classroom. EWB at GWU is one of over 250 chapters worldwide with a commitment to making the world a better place, one calculus problem at a time. We currently operate programs in Bhutiya, India; Yumbe, Uganda; and in the DC Metro Area.
