Our objective is service to the band, the Department of Music in the College of Fine Arts, and furthering the cause of band music in the nation's capital and its surrounding jurisdiction of Maryland and Virginia. The honorary nature of membership is based on this premise: "It is an HONOR to be selected to serve."
