The mission of the club is to build a cohort identity among first-year students to increase members’ sense of community and belonging at Long Beach City College, while also celebrating the individual and unique identities of each member as well as encompassing all educational journeys. Through the support of the First-Year Program student success coaches, staff, and faculty, the vision behind ASPIRE is to empower students to successfully complete educational and personal goals while promoting retention in the first term and end strong by persisting into the second term in good academic standing. This will be supported and carried out throughout the students’ experience at Long Beach City College. Location: FYE Center (B-203) Date and Time: Thursdays from 1-2PM
