The CUA German Club aims to foster global awareness, language skills, and knowledge of German, Austrian, and Swiss culture. Working closely with German faculty here at CUA, we experience the culture of the German-speaking countries through films, food, and a variety of cultural events on and off campus. We regularly organize outings to places like the Goethe Institut, the German, Austrian, and Swiss embassies, and the many other resources that are available in the DC metropolitan area. We also offer students information about the German Program at CUA (i.e. Information about study abroad and classes that are offered here). You do not have to be in CUA's German program or speak German to be a part of our club. Regardless of whether your interest in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is cultural, linguistic, or historical, all are welcome!
