GESA represents the professional and social needs and concerns of graduate English students. We serve as an advocate for the students to the faculty and the rest of the department. We schedule events that meet the needs of the students and that allow them to hone their conference presentation and research skills. We provide workshops on external funding and hold an annual research conference.
