The Graduate Student Council is dedicated to representing the graduate students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences with concerns regarding internal and external matters. We serve as advocates the the graduate student body represent graduate students’ interests before the Howard faculty and administration. Furthermore, we disseminate information of interest to students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and organize, promote, and conduct activities beneficial to graduate studentlife. We also recommend graduate students for appointment to faculty and university committees. This forum allows graduate students the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiencesand concerns, and to discuss strategies for improving the well being of theirmember graduate students.
