Georgetown University

GUASFCU is a student-run federal credit union serving members of the Georgetown community. Students take an unusually active role in running the institution, gaining hands-on exposure to banking, lending, financial services, marketing, operations, and management. Because it operates as an actual financial institution rather than simply a finance club, members can take on significant real-world responsibilities while still undergraduates. It has become particularly well known among Georgetown students interested in banking, finance, fintech, and financial services careers.
