The GW Class Council is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of class affinity andidentity among undergraduate students at The George Washington University. Theorganization will guide members of each undergraduate class in order to forgemeaningful connections between students and create significant milestones throughoutstudents’ time during their college careers that can be reflected in the future. In pursuitof this objective, GW’s Class Council will do the following: it assists in the cultivation of class-specific traditions and events that celebrate and honor milestones that create a shared affinity within students’ class years; it encourages student engagement with GW student life through fostering strongclass identities and culture that provides connections amongst studentsthroughout their time at GW; it develops and encourages personal relationships among students through class-specific programming or activities; it provides class-specific mentorship and services to create a smoother and collaborative college process; it supplies students with tailored support and resources to create a smoother undergraduate college process; and it maintains and cultivates positive environments for students to connect and collaborate with their peers, regardless of academic or professional background.
