The purpose of the organization is to provide students with opportunities to learn and practice the art of stand-up comedy via showcases, open mics, and all other related events. All students are welcome to be a member of Comedy Nights no matter their skill level. Members of GW Comedy Nights will also work to ensure our events are high-quality entertainment with lineups that are representative of the student body. Our organization aims to not only provide student opportunities but also prepare students to pursue stand-up beyond their undergraduate careers through the hosting of workshops and preparation meetings prior to each event. In return, bringing events of laughter and levity to campus. In striving to reach this purpose, GW Comedy Nights will operate within established University policies.
