The GW MotherFunkers, a competitive co-ed a cappella group, was founded in 2012 at The George Washington University with the desire to focus mainly on the performance of Contemporary Pop and Top 40s hits. We are proud to represent a diverse cross section of the GW student body, and look forward to many years of musical success on and off campus. Our group is characterized by our unique take on A Cappella arrangements and a redefining of what A Cappella music "should" sound like. We compete annually at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and are always working to record and release our arrangements professionally on all streaming platforms.
