GW NeW is dedicated to fostering the education and leadership of culturally conservative and independent-thinking women. GW NeW members will grow more confident in advocating for themselves and others not just at school, but in their workplaces, homes, and communities. The organization will reinforce principles of freedom, opportunity, and civil discourse by hosting speakers, holding debates, and providing intellectual resources. Members will engage in activities and discussion surrounding conservative values, policy, and culture at weekly meetings. These activities will include a book club, museum trips, movie nights, and coffee trips in addition to speaker events.The organization is affiliated with national university organization Network of Enlightened Women. The Network of Enlightened Women is devoted to promoting conservative principles and intellectual diversity on college campuses and in public discourse surrounding women, culture, and politics. This organization provides unique opportunities for professional development, with a rich speaker bank and scholarships for trips and conferences.
