We are GW Parliamentary Debate Society: GW's ONLY student-run debate organization! We compete regularly against the nation's top universities through the American Parliamentary Debate Association. Our club is APDA's 1st overall club. In addition, we have multiple debaters historically ranked in the individual top 5 as well as multiple two-person teams historically ranked in the top 5 as well. We have no tryouts, no debate experience requirements and GWPDS is completely free to join. We meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10pm in Funger 209 and provide opportunities to compete every weekend. We will teach you how to debate!
