GW Reads! is an on campus book club dedicated to increasing accessibility to all types of literature as well as creating a community of bibliophiles. We have a Book of the Month that we choose based on input from our members or current events. We meet every few weeks to discuss our thoughts and opinions as a group. If you are an avid reader, and would like to read more than one book a month, you will have access to previous Books of the Month and can meet individually with senior members for meaningful conversations. GW Reads! is also passionate about giving back to the DC community. Whether by adding to the Gelman Library catalog of books or donating to local, underprivileged DC schools, we want reading to be a fun, accessible endeavor for everyone. If you love to read or are looking to get back into reading, this is the perfect club for you!
