The Health Law & Policy Brief is an online, student-run publication at American University Washington College of Law that focuses on emerging issues in health law, both domestically and internationally. Founded in 2007, the Brief publishes two issues a year, and features regular blog posts. Articles cover a wide range of cutting-edge topics, including health care fraud and abuse, health insurance payment and reimbursement, public health law, intellectual property, human rights, FDA initiatives and policies, and more. Participation in our organization and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
