Hilltop Consultants is a student-run consulting organization that works primarily with nonprofits and social-impact organizations. Members work in teams on real client projects, doing research, analyzing organizational problems, developing recommendations, and presenting deliverables, so it gives you a fairly authentic consulting experience while you're still an undergraduate. It is particularly attractive for students interested in consulting, business, finance, entrepreneurship, or social impact, and the experience can become especially valuable if you eventually take on project-management or leadership responsibilities. Georgetown's Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership has highlighted the organization's professional consulting structure and real client work.
