Boston College Hoops for Hope is a charitable student organization dedicated to saving lives by helping to find a cure for cancer. The Organization seeks to make a difference by (1) raising funds for the V Foundation, and (2) generating support and awareness for cancer research among the Boston College community. Founded in 2004, Hoops for Hope uses the game of basketball to advance the mission of the V Foundation, named after the late NC State Basketball Coach Jim Valvano, Through events such as an annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament, we endeavor to help in the fight to cure cancer.
