The purpose of bringing a chapter of DECA Inc. to Howard University is to empower students with an abundance of opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and career readiness within the fields of business, marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. As a chapter of the national DECA Inc. organization, Howard University students will gain access to a global network of industry leaders, professionals, careers and like-minded peers. This chapter will provide students with the chance to participate in prestigious conferences, seminars, and case study competitions, including the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), where they can compete in a variety of case study competitions on a national level.
