The Howard University Skateboarding Club was founded by Monyell Sessoms and Kameren Haliday in Fall of 2022. Its purpose is to promote skateboarding and skate culture to black and brown students while providing a safe and inclusive experience for all its members. The club currently has over 200 members since its first session. More than 50 members typically attend the club’s weekly sessions and campus wide events.
