The Italian Language and Culture Club at American University is dedicated to promoting the Italian language, culture, history, and traditions. Open to all students, whether you have Italian roots or are simply curious about Italy, the club provides a welcoming and inclusive space to connect with peers who share an interest in “everything Italy.” Through social events, cultural activities, and language practice, members have opportunities to engage with Italian culture both on and off campus. The club also encourages involvement in campus-wide programming that fosters cultural appreciation and community building. Our goal is to build a sense of community, cultural awareness, and appreciation for Italy within the AU community and beyond.
