The purpose of Ivy Pride is to provide education, advocacy, and community service opportunities related to issues of sexuality, sexual health, and gender to all students, faculty and alumni at the Ivy Tech Richmond campus. Ivy Pride is an inclusive organization that strives to foster an environment conducive to the free exchange of open and honest dialogue relating to sexuality/gender. Members don't have to 'identify' as anything or anyone. Your contribution to humanity is valued, irrespective of your gender identity, sexual affiliation, or any other factors. Ivy Pride seeks to help the student body expand their horizons while developing new/stronger understandings of sexual minorities, healthy sexual practices, and the need for advocacy in our community.
