The Kogod Pride Alliance is a dynamic student-run organization within the Kogod School of Business, dedicated to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for LGBTQ+ individuals, their allies, and all AU students. At its core, the alliance is driven by a mission to develop students into leaders who embody values such as innovation, morality, sustainability, fiscal responsibility, and philanthropy. Through a variety of initiatives including networking events, workshops, mentorship programs, and more, the organization seeks to create a sense of belonging while providing valuable resources for students pursuing careers in business. Central to their objectives is the introduction of students to a diverse array of LGBTQ+ business community initiatives, both on and off campus, to cultivate an understanding of the significant role these individuals play in the broader business landscape. By instilling a mindset centered on equity and inclusion, the Kogod Pride Alliance empowers students to champion these values in their future professional endeavors. They strive to foster a vibrant and inclusive community where members collaborate, innovate, and draw upon their unique perspectives and skill sets to address complex challenges across diverse disciplines. Furthermore, the alliance is committed to leveraging collective expertise and resources to uplift the LGBTQ+ business community, contributing to its growth, resilience, and prosperity. Through collaboration, advocacy, and engagement, the Kogod Pride Alliance aims to make a meaningful impact and advance equality within the business world and beyond.
