Intramural and Recreational Sports aim to provide opportunities for each LBCC student to participate in their favorite competitive sport. We promote wellness and healthy lifestyle choices for the LBCC community by providing opportunities for athletic and fitness activities. Register for the 2026-27 Viking Fit Club: The Viking Fit Club is open to any LBCC Students with a valid College Services Card and current semester sticker, faculty, and staff. The mission of the Fit Club is to promote wellness through physical activities such as fitness walking, jogging, cycling, skating, and swimming. Miles/lap will be monitored on the Strava app. There is no fee for joining. All participants will have the opportunity to earn Viking Fit Club T-shirts and other LBCC swag when they hit the 100, 200, 300, and 500-point milestones. Viking Fit Club Challenges Results: Coming soon Fantasy Football League League: September 9th - December 30th, 2026 Draft Day: September 8th, 2026 Draft Day time: 1:00 p.m. - fantasy.espn.com - Live Draft(An email link will be sent to you when your team is accepted into the league)The draft order will be randomized 30 minutes before the league’s draft. The draft order is final. Registration ends on Friday, Sept. 4th at 12:00 p.m. - NO EXCEPTIONS Our goal is to have a 10-person league. Leagues may be adjusted to accommodate all participants signing up. Multiple leagues will be created. You may only participate in one league. A Fantasy Football ring/trophy will be awarded to the winner of each league. Rules: Must be a current student, faculty, or staff member at Long Beach City College. Drafts are final The leagues that you are assigned to are final Each team will have 2 minutes to draft their player during the draft If you exceed 2 minutes during the draft, espn.com will auto-pick for you. You may choose to have espn.com auto-pick your whole roster Once you are signed up, we will invite you to the fantasy football league espn.com. Leagues will be based on the order of sign-ups that are received. ***If you want to be in the same league as a friend, sign up simultaneously. There is still a chance that you may be split up. Review the league settings before the league starts so you are familiar with the scoring. The settings will not be changed. 10 max teams in each league 15 players on each roster 2 IR players A Fantasy Football ring/trophy will be awarded to the winner of each league.
