Choosing Kinesiology for a class or as a major provides you with the ability to explore movement and investigate wellness. Applications in the sport and exercise industries include sports management and marketing, sports psychology, coaching, and specialized fitness training in the commercial health and fitness industry. Many kinesiology majors go on to graduate programs in exercise science and physical therapy. Public Health and Health Education focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing disease, and protecting the health of both individuals and communities. Some of the many fields of public health include: Health Educators, Nutritionists, Community Health Planners, Emergency Preparedness Specialists, Epidemiologists, Health Care Administrators, Health Safety Inspectors, Public Health Nurses, Occupational Health and Safety Professionals, Public Health Policymakers, Scientists and Researchers.
