The purpose of Les Coeurs D'Afrique (Hearts of Africa) is to promote African culture through dance. We, as a dance team, aim to showcase African culture in hope of raising awareness about the beauty of the African continent, its rich traditions, its influence in the black diaspora and we are open to all students. American University student organizations shall not discriminate in membership or benefits on the basis of any individual’s personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
