The GW Chapter of National Press Photographer Association is a space where students interested in photography can grow into the worlds and industries of visual journalism, fine art photography, documentary work, and more. We hope to foster an environment where photographs, video production, and zines can be shared, embraced, and created. In this upcoming 2025-2026 academic year, we hope to host several museum trips, print sales, partner with creative orgs on campus and at nearby universities, and curate our own exhibitions on and off campus to promote student art across the city. Additionally, we frequently bring in guest speakers with visual journalism experience and other genres of photography and videography that students can learn from and network with. The overall purpose of this organization is to foster a creative environment for those wanting an outlet - so come create with us!
