The Ivy Tech Community College Student Nursing Club is a pre-professional organization open to all students interested in the health care field. We hope to build a closer bond and a more unified spirit among students and faculty in order to further the ideals and purposes of the Nursing program. The Nursing Club is a vehicle and support group for student nurses by providing a chance to network and learn from others in the nursing field. Our mission is to strive to prepare students for fulfilling lives, careers, and participation in a modern and changing society. Our vision is to be a community of nurse scholars and mentors guiding professional nurses as nurse leaders who are committed to professional ideals, lifelong learning, and meaningful practice. The club meets throughout the year, and also encourages participation in community affairs, fundraisers, and other fun activities throughout the year, which relate to healthcare and social issues.
