About Office of Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation strives to create a space for students to move joyfully, explore different types of physical activity, enjoy constructive competition opportunities for individuals of all abilities, and connect with others in meaningful ways. Our home base for programming is the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. Our department provides a variety of programming opportunities, such as intramural sports, club sports, group fitness, personal training, fitness clinics and workshops, outdoor education, and certification opportunities. We also have one of the largest groups of student staff at GW, which allows us to cultivate many leadership, customer service, and continuing education opportunities for them.
