The Office of Global Strategies The Office of Global Strategies is committed to internationalizing the campus community through academic and extracurricular endeavors, growing the international impact of The Catholic University of America as a global research institution, and supporting initiatives that engage faculty and students in research, teaching, and learning experiences throughout the world. The Office of Education Abroad The Director of International Programs and the Education Advisor develop and administer international educational opportunities overseas for students and faculty, coordinating between Catholic University academic and administrative units, as well as other institutions in the U.S. and abroad. Catholic University offers semester, full-year, summer, and short-term study abroad programs as well as international internships. The Intensive English Program Established in 1983 in recognition of the challenges that our international student population face within the classroom, the Intensive English Program at The Catholic University of America aims to support students through the development of English language skills prior to their undergraduate and/or graduate education. Through rigorous support from wonderful faculty, not only will our international students become proficient in the use of English, but they will acquire the skills and comfort level necessary to achieve their dreams of receiving undergraduate or graduate degrees. This is all made possible through the program's focus on pursuit of proficient English language skills within an academic setting.
