The purpose of OPUS-AFRICA is to foster discussion regarding US-African affairs through guest speakers, roundtable discussions, OPUS-AFRICA’s blog, and media engagement. Topics of discussion include, but are not limited to US national security interests, economic development, diaspora affairs, illicit finance, foreign policy, terrorism, great power competition, and African history. OPUS-AFRICA is a non-partisan student organization looking to bring unity to a diverse group of students from different walks of life around a shared interest.
